The Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is the place to go for the ultimate spa day. You may valet or park on the street. When you get there they quickly get you checked into the spa are. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
Upon arrival to the spa area you are told about all the things the Carillon has to offer you. You can get a foot massage from a little foot pool that has bubble jets. It’s kind of like a jacuzzi but for your feet. Then you can go into the hot tub. When you get out of the hot tub you can lay down on one of the hot lounge chairs. There are also these special shower rooms that play sounds of nature and a variety of colors illuminating the room. The slightest hint of essences such as lavender and eucalyptus accompany your shower experience.

Now let’s talk about my treatment. I went there for the Salt Float Bath Therapy. It looks like a big egg or cocoon. You take a shower before you enter. They then give you these gummy ear plugs which really do plug your ear up very well. Before you enter the bath you’re given a floating device that goes against your neck and behind your head. Then you float. I even fell asleep in there for a while. It’s very relaxing and you can meditate while you’re in there. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and clear your head. My skin felt really amazing after. The only thing that I recommend is that you scrub your body well after the treatment. I scrubbed but I should have scrubbed harder and used more soap because they salt was still on the side of my face and my half of my hair. That is completely my fault because the attendant told to be wash it off I just didn’t do it well.
Another bonus is that they have the adult pool which is great if you just want to unwind with no munchkins. There’s also a lower level pool where they allow children. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy these amenities because it rained but knowing that it’s there is a plus. When you are done relaxing there are showers that are obviously fully stocked.
I’m so grateful that this was gifted to me and I definitely will be back. I’m really bad with names but the female staff in the locker room and my attendant for my treatment were absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back!!!
