Neostrata Foaming Glycolic Wash

Neostrata Foaming Glycolic Wash is a wonderful and refreshing cleanser. It’s a 4.2 once container with a pump. You only need about 2 pumps for your face. Make sure your face is moist prior to applying the face wash.

The nice thing about this product is that it contains AHA which is Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Alpha Hydroxy Acid exfoliates your skin revealing newer and smoother skin. It gets deep on your skin to clear your pores. The AHA they use is Glycolic Acid.

Another great ingredient is L-bionic Acid (also known as Lactobionic Acid) which is part of the PHA family. It’s an antioxidant. This acid is great for skin that is dehydrated. It protects the skin and attracts moisture to it.

I’ve been using it for a few days now and you can tell that it is cleaning out my pores. I have eczema so my skin is sensitive and dry. They say to use it twice a day but I only do that when my skin is having a breakout. On a normal day I follow the wash with a Vitamin C serum and a moisturizer. On a breakout day I do my normal routine in the day. At night I use the Neostrata Wash but I follow with a little water and then fresh aloe. I sleep with the aloe but this is not recommended for everyone. For most people the aloe will burn and continue to burn. It only tingles for a few minutes and then it goes away.

Neostrata Foaming Glycolic Wash is soap free. One thing that you need to remember is that it has alpha hydroxy acid which increases your sensitivity to the sun. Make sure you use a sunblock.
